Marriage in Heaven...

Postby Pastor Visser » October 18th, 2005, 10:46 am

Sam,

Here's how I see the Bible on this matter...

First off, we're married to Jesus Christ (or should be):

Jer 3:14; "Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you."

Mat 22:2; "The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son."

Rev 19:7; "Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready."

Because of this bond, Jesus says:

Mat 22:30; "For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven."

Mar 12:25; "For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven."

The reason for this is clear:

Luk 20:34-36; "Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection."

Equal to angels means we're all one with God:

Gen 2:24; "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh."

Joh 17:22; "The glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one."

Angels recognize each another so there is no 'loss' to speak of.

Hopefully, someone else might add their thoughts.

Ouestion On Intermarrage In WN...

Postby E.Nygma » December 31st, 2005, 7:11 pm

Is it proper for a CI person to court/date a WN of another belief system? :?:
I know the Bible says to "not be unequally unyoked", could that apply to between an Odinist or an Atheist and Christian? :?:
There are a lot of intelligent and attractive ladies over on SF, hate to think that there would be another limit to courting/dating any of them. Thanks for your answers, kin! :waves:

Greetings E. Nygma,

These two powerful passages come to mind when reading your question:

1Co 7:14; "For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy."

1Pe 3:1-2; "Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives; While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear."

Both of these statements suggest that one spouse or the other are justified by a single yet faithful believer.

Still, I feel we should strive for a virtuous and Christian woman (Proverbs 31:10-31).

Under the Blood,

What concord hath Christ with Belial? "Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son. For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of YHVH be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly." Deuteronomy 7:3,4

"The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good." Psalm 14:1

I agree with Pastor Visser and CC here. If you identify yourself as CI, then you should strive to find a good christian woman. Be it she is a WN or not. I myself am striving for just that. I have been talking with such a woman in Ohio and Im trying to show her CI is the best way in raising a family and such.

How then do you win her over without "missionary dating"? :?:
How does one keep themselves accountable to the Word and each other without going over a steep cliff?

So are you saying that it is preferable that a wife should be Christian but have completely opposite political views rather than a White Nationalist yet non-Christian?
Surely if a wife is `justified` by a Christian husband it should not matter?

Heaven

Postby stardust » August 16th, 2006, 12:14 am

It is such a beautiful thought to think of returning to God in the spiritual form of angels and seeing everyone there that we have ever loved and probably even getting to meet all of our forefathers who have entered into the gates.
I truly look forward to the days when this earth is renewed and God takes the reigns for good and abollishes Satan and his followers.
I pray for all of us at CPM who are determined to follow Christ, I hope that we can learn from one another and establish the true meaning of what is is to be a Christian and work together to prepare our souls for the coming of our Savior. :D

Sincerely,

Stardust :D
