I have a comment and a question for Pastor Visser.

First off, on the Sermon, " "Hollywood Wizard Wands of Satanic Images, " you stated that Sharon Tate was hung upside down like the Tarot card, which is not true. That was one of the untrue rumors going around at the time in 1969...aka..satanic panic.

The question I have for you is this, You are not REALLY saying that because Tex, Susan, Leslie, Pat, Bruce and Charlie killed some people in 1969, that they have lost any hope of gaining Eternal Life....are you? I am asking you this because you said that you were going to tell all the members of the family that there is no Eternal life for them. Am I hearing what you said..correct?

My view of The Scripture that you quoted, " No murderer hath Eternal life abiding IN him" is this:

If someone is still in that "thought"...as in...they still have that hate and desire in him/her, then of course there is no room for anything Holy and Good if they continue in that, but... I don't see that passage as meaning that things can't change. I believe that if a person turns to Christ and accepts him into their heart, they are forgiven and they ARE given Eternal Life.

Genesis 9:6: "Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man."

Exodus 21:12 says, "He that smiteth a man, so that he die, shall be surely put to death."

Revelation 13:10; "He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword (think Manson). Here is the patience and the faith of the saints."

Acts 25:11; "For if I be an offender, or have committed any thing worthy of death, I refuse not to die: but if there be none of these things whereof these accuse me, no man may deliver me unto them. I appeal unto Caesar."

Romans 13:1-4: "Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil."

Deuteronomy 19:11-13; "But if any man hate his neighbour, and lie in wait for him, and rise up against him, and smite him mortally that he die, and fleeth into one of these cities: Then the elders of his city shall send and fetch him thence, and deliver him into the hand of the avenger of blood, that he may die. Thine eye shall not pity him, but thou shalt put away the guilt of innocent blood from Israel, that it may go well with thee."

Num. 35:16-21; "And if he smite him with an instrument of iron, so that he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death. And if he smite him with throwing a stone, wherewith he may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death. Or if he smite him with an hand weapon of wood, wherewith he may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death. The revenger of blood himself shall slay the murderer: when he meeteth him, he shall slay him. But if he thrust him of hatred, or hurl at him by laying of wait, that he die; Or in enmity smite him with his hand, that he die: he that smote him shall surely be put to death; for he is a murderer: the revenger of blood shall slay the murderer, when he meeteth him."

Num. 35:30-31; "Whoso killeth any person, the murderer shall be put to death by the mouth of witnesses: but one witness shall not testify against any person to cause him to die. Moreover ye shall take no satisfaction for the life of a murderer, which is guilty of death: but he shall be surely put to death."

The Bible is full of people who killed other people, then found God, recieved forgiveness and were either saved by the Grace of God...(Old and New Testament)...AND...by The Blood of Jesus... (NEW Testament).

A few examples are...Moses who killed the Egyptian and Saul (before he became Paul) had killed many Christians before his encounter with Jesus. God forgave them and they found Favor with Him.

There are many of the Manson Family members, who have turned away from Manson and asked Jesus to come into their hearts and have been forgiven by Him and I believe that they will have Eternal Life in Christ because they have done that.

One more thing...where did you see or read about Tex, Leslie and Pat trying to hang Rosemary LaBianca upside down like the tarot card? I've never heard that one before. I've studied the Manson case for a long time and I have never come across that before. They killed her in the bedroom and left her on the floor where she fell/where they killed her.

Then when they reached the couch, they were in for a real shock. A young blond woman, very pregnant, was lying on the floor, smeared all over with blood, a rope around her neck that extended over a rafter in the ceiling. The other end of the rope was around the neck of a man lying nearby, also drenched in blood.

I personally know Tex/Charles Watson ....and his heart is on fire for Jesus and he has dedicated his life to sharing the Word of God. So has Bruce. Others in the manson Family have also found Christ....Susan, Leslie, Bruce, Gyspy and Dennis Rice..just to name a few. Yes...what they did was horrible, but they have repented, and found forgiveness and have totally given their lives to Jesus and now live for Him.

He who believes on the Lord, shall be saved and I believe they are.

Rom 1:28-32; "Even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
